Meet the Team JerriHygienistJerri is a registered dental hygienist (RDH) who has been helping patients attain a greater understanding of their daily hygiene as it relates to overall health for almost 25 years. She has been working with Dr Marrero for over 12 years. During that time, she has built relationships with many of our patients that she now calls friends in the community. Jerri splits her working days between our office and a general practice office in downtown Portland. Jerri and her husband Bruce live in Oregon City and have been married for almost 30 years. They have 2 adult children. In her spare time, Jerri enjoys ceramic painting, cross-stitching and spending time with her family, as well as outdoor sports and home projects.  BeckyFront OfficeBecky has worked in dentistry for over 20 years and has worked with Dr Marrero for over 10 years. During this time, she has provided patients with a positive dental experience by offering her knowledge of dentistry and compassion for people. She is happy to call many of our patients’ friends and has enjoyed getting to know our patients and families. She always lends an open ear to patient concerns, questions and comments. She actively seeks information on insurances, benefits and the ever-changing insurance guidelines. She participates in continuing education courses and webinars. Becky is a native Oregonian and has lived in Beaverton since 1990. She has 3 children and 2 grandsons and a future daughter-in-law. She is active in the Washington County Dental Society and helped organize the recent PPE distribution to Washington County Dentists as well as the COVID-19 vaccine event for healthcare workers. She loves getting together with family and Saturday game nights with friends is a favorite.  PangEFDAPang is an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. After taking a couple of years away from the office to go back to school, Pang is back assisting Dr Marrero in caring for his patients. She has been working with Dr Marrero for over 12 years and enjoys seeing our long-term patients as well as getting to know our new patients. Pang graduated from Concorde Career Institute in 2002 and has over 18 years’ experience as a dental assistant. Pang brings her excellent chairside skills, organization and attention to detail as well as her calm, compassionate chairside manner to our office. Pang comes from a family of 8 children and she and her husband have 3 children. Family is very important to Pang and most of her free time revolves around getting together with brothers and sisters and parents. For quiet evenings at home, Pang enjoys reading, watching movies and TV series and exercising. Lately she has also supervised virtual learning for her 3 children.  AzharDental AssistantAzhar is Dr Marrero’s newest team member. She is a recent graduate of Concorde Career College and is working and studying to get her EFDA certificate. She is working with Dr Marrero assisting chairside in caring for our patients, as well as keeping treatment rooms stocked with supplies and equipment, ordering supplies, and helping with lab cases. Azhar is always making sure that she provides the best in patient care, follows all OSHA guidelines while getting experience and training toward certification. Azhar has 2 college age daughters and a beautiful new fur-baby- -a sweet kitty named Mushu. In her free time, Azhar enjoys cooking, reading, spending time with family and watching historical movies based on the 7th century. |
